Articles and News Reports

Articles concerning scholarship results are sometimes controversial when the press chooses to focus on competition and prestige instead of student accomplishment—an unfortunate reality of our time. It thereby follows that they are, by default, usually outdated within months of their publication. Sometimes, however, there are policy and procedural matters included that can benefit the public, students, and our colleagues. Articles reprinted or linked to by NAFA are to be considered from that perspective, and in no way are an attempt to perpetuate or reinforce thoughtless and unimportant media coverage of irrelevant topics.
